Calculation checks & limits

Scope. This is a working, browser-local generator for a short original reflection companion. The 18-page PDF is the unchanged fictional Maya Hart sample previously sent for review. A full approved interpretation library, production PDF generator and customer delivery workflow remain to be developed and agreed.

Settings

Swiss Ephemeris 2.10.03; geocentric tropical apparent positions; Placidus houses using ecliptic longitude; true North Node. Recorded birth time, explicit coordinates and IANA historical time zone. Ambiguous times need an explicit occurrence; nonexistent clock times and unavailable polar Placidus houses are rejected. Birth years 1800–2095. No silent Moshier fallback.

The original fixed PDF documents its Moshier planetary background. The new browser calculation uses Swiss files throughout. Both yield the same displayed Chiron position and house boundaries for Maya; the PDF has not been silently relabelled as a new calculation.

The example

Maya Hart is fictional: 14 March 1974, 10:30 London, 51.5074 N, 0.1278 W, Europe/London. This resolves to 10:30 UTC. Chiron is 18°46′52″ Aries in house 11; boundaries 28°43′02″ Pisces and 16°17′39″ Taurus. All 601 one-second samples from 10:25 to 10:35 remain in house 11. Other inputs show a three-point ±5-minute check.

Independent positional comparison

NASA/JPL Horizons: object 2060 Chiron, observer at the Earth centre, apparent airless ecliptic-of-date longitude and latitude, UT. Three epochs are checked; the largest coordinate difference is 0.184661 arcsecond. This is a bounded numerical cross-check, not proof for every possible birth date and not validation of an interpretation.

Engine and input checks

14 scenarios and 3,311 numeric comparisons between the native shared engine and its WebAssembly/Python browser implementation. Maximum numerical difference: 2.11108764914e-08. Includes historical dates, daylight-saving gaps and repeated times, explicit first/second occurrence, unknown-time rejection and polar-house rejection.

Interpretation and source limits

The sign questions, house contexts and exercises are original editorial proposals. They do not reconstruct Lisa’s book or its entire method. The optional Chiron aspect table uses a proposed 3° maximum for conjunction, sextile, square, trine and opposition to ten planets; the guide makes no aspect interpretation. For Maya no contact qualifies. The fourteen-day practice is reader-chosen and is not a transit forecast. No biography or clinical conclusion is inferred.

Data and commercial boundaries

Birth details and reflection notes remain in browser memory. No analytics, orders, messages, payments or customer storage are connected by this application. Reloading clears the working session. A future commercial service needs separate consent, data handling, order/payment integration, report review and private delivery. Fees, revenue share, permissions, hosting and licensing must be agreed.
